'Circles in the Sand' is a playful, tongue-in-cheek song that takes the listener on a journey through the ups and downs that coexist from day to day. How is that unadulterated joy and existential dread live in such proximity to one another? 'Circles' sits with these conflicting emotions, and calls on the listener to focus on what is tangible: What we can see, feel and touch. 'I will rest my head, draw circles in the sand, there's treasure hidden there, and secrets - do you swear, to keep?'
